The SICK WFS3-40P415 is a high-performance fork sensor engineered for precise label detection in industrial automation. It features a 3 mm fork width and a 42 mm fork depth, allowing it to detect label gaps or labels as small as 2 mm, depending on label thickness. The sensor employs an infrared LED light source and offers a PNP switching output with a maximum current of 100 mA. Operating within a supply voltage range of 10 to 30 V DC, it has a low current consumption of 20 mA. With a rapid response time of 50 µs and a switching frequency of 10 kHz, the WFS3-40P415 is suitable for high-speed applications.
